Sophia is the Executive Assistant at Kanbrick, where she manages schedules and ensures seamless coordination across the company. She brings more than five years of experience in the Event industry and over a decade in the service industry, which have shaped her strong foundation in organization, communication, and client service.
Prior to joining Kanbrick, Sophia designed and coordinated high-end events in Nashville and the Philadelphia area. During college, she also interned with The Walt Disney Company, further developing her skills in hospitality and operations. Today, Sophia leverages this diverse background to support Kanbrick’s operations with precision, efficiency, and care.

Tomisin is a Community Analyst at Kanbrick, where she oversees the creation and execution of content, programming, and events offered to the members of the Community.
Before joining Kanbrick, Tomisin was a Project Manager at 1871, a leading innovation hub, where she supported entrepreneurs and advanced initiatives to build a more inclusive and diverse tech startup ecosystem. Tomisin is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Before that, Brett was a consultant in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations group, focusing on M&A and other strategic engagements. Brett is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Brian Humphrey is the Co-Founder of Kanbrick, a long-term investment partnership focused on acquiring and building great companies. Brian's passion for empowering people and companies to reach their full potential inspired him to co-found Kanbrick.
Prior to starting Kanbrick, Brian served as Chief Financial Officer of Pampered Chef, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, where he led finance, strategy, analytics, and sales. He also worked as an investment professional at Audax. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and an MBA from Stanford University.
Early Beginnings: Brian grew up working at his family’s cabinetry business in Kansas. In addition to sweeping lots of floors, he saw firsthand what it takes to build a family business.

Tracy Britt Cool is the Co-Founder of Kanbrick, a long-term investment partnership focused on acquiring and building great companies. Tracy’s passion for investing and operating inspired her to create a long-term home for midsize companies through co-founding Kanbrick.
Prior to starting Kanbrick, Tracy worked at Berkshire Hathaway for 10 years, first as the Financial Assistant to the Chairman, and later Chief Executive Officer of Pampered Chef, a Berkshire Hathaway company. Additionally, Tracy served on the boards of several Berkshire Hathaway companies including Kraft Heinz, Benjamin Moore, Oriental Trading Company, Larson Juhl, and Johns Manville. Tracy is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
Early Beginnings: Tracy grew up helping on her family farm in Kansas. These early experiences taught her that great things are built, brick by brick, through hard work, discipline, and integrity.

Prior to joining Kanbrick, Dawson held senior roles at Bain & Company and Rodan & Fields. At Bain, he worked closely with many midsize businesses on strategy, transformation, and value creation. At Rodan & Fields, he led the Direct-to-Consumer business as VP of eCommerce. Dawson is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and Stanford University Business School.
